UDOT to Mark Completion of Four Interchanges and Announce Future Projects for Bangerter Highway
News regarding upcoming construction to be released at event to celebrate project completion
UDOT will announce new plans for future construction on Bangerter Highway on Monday, Nov. 19. The announcement will be made at an event to celebrate completion of the four newest Bangerter Highway interchanges.
Construction on the two-year project, which replaced intersections with freeway-style interchanges at 5400 South, 7000 South, 9000 South, and 11400 South, will be substantially complete on Monday, and all lanes and on/off-ramps will be open at that time. Occasional night and weekend lane closures are expected through the end of the year to finish up minor items such as landscaping, striping, etc.
UDOT and local officials will offer remarks, and then several construction vehicles will exit the work zone to mark the end of major construction for the current project.
Monday, Nov. 19, at 10 a.m.
