Media Briefing: New Triumph Boulevard Bridge to Open Over I-15 in Lehi
Local drivers will have new options for getting around without using the freeway
Media are invited to tour the new Triumph Boulevard bridge in Lehi before it opens to traffic on Thursday, Nov. 1. UDOT officials will also be available to discuss the new bridge and frontage roads, and provide updates on the I-15 Technology Corridor project.
UDOT’s I-15 Technology Corridor will provide drivers in northern Utah County with more options to get where they need to go with a new bridge at Triumph Boulevard and a one-way frontage road system adjacent to I-15. The bridge and frontage roads are designed to take pressure off of the I-15 interchanges at 2100 North and S.R. 92, and to improve traffic flow throughout the area. Once the Tech Corridor project is completed in 2020, drivers will have options to get on and off the freeway without having to drive through the interchanges or on Ashton Boulevard.
Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 9:30 a.m.
Meet at the intersection of Triumph Boulevard and the northbound frontage road. From I-15 Exit 284, take S.R. 92 east to Triumph Boulevard. Turn right onto Triumph Boulevard and proceed south to I-15. Meet UDOT just east of the bridge to park.
*Please wear closed-toed, sturdy shoes and pants. Extra personal protective equipment will be available.
