Media Briefing: UDOT to reduce lanes on Bangerter Highway at 90th South through July
Drivers should plan ahead and expect delays during the morning and evening commute through July
Media briefing regarding new lane closures on Bangerter Highway in West Jordan starting Tuesday, May 29 and continuing through July. Bangerter Highway will be reduced to two lanes in both directions, 24 hours a day, between 7800 South and 9000 South.
Lane closures on Bangerter Highway in this area have been in place during non-commute hours for several months. However, with these new restrictions, UDOT expects heavy delays for drivers, especially during the morning and evening commute.
These lane closures will allow crews to continue construction of a new freeway-style interchange on Bangerter Highway at 9000 South. Construction on the new interchange is scheduled for completion this fall.
Friday, May 25, at 9:30 a.m.
